Hi! You are listening to Routine Apparitions, a fictional novel in blog form which is available on blogspot. Written by Persephone Abbott, this detective novel tracks the missing archive materials of Keith Kumasen Abbott, the zen monk and author. In real life Keith’s most important materials are actually still missing (and, of course, what everyone wants to know is what happened to his 1971 play entitled “The Rhubarb”?)......but this particular podcast version of events attempting to retrieve the missing materials is fictional, of course.
Let’s pick up where we left off: In the last chapter we all admired an actual published poem by Keith Kumasen Abbott:
Alpine lake, snowy mountains
Trout tails slapping at the bait
“Son, don’t fight over women–
Let women fight over you….”
You have to admit, it would make a great Country and Western song.
